New Delhi: “Every Indian must promise to place one tree every month so that in a year’s time we should be in a position to install 15 crore trees in the country” suggested Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studio and patron to Clean India Movement at the plant placement function at village in south Delhi.
“Time has come when we have to study and understand the importance of environment and start teaching people about the fresh air, clean water and surroundings. Alone Prime Minister cannot do the needful,” added Sandeep Marwah who is also working on Clean Ganga issue.
The local authorities including DY Director DDA, Municipal Councilor, Village Head and coordinator of the program Mukesh Sharma were present there with the participation of large number of villagers and residents.
Mukesh Sharma later honored Sandeep Marwah for his project and contribution towards clean India movement, which was announced by Prime Minister as national campaign last year on 2nd October.
