Mumbai: The 13^th edition of Global Film Festival Noida 2020 has been fixed for three days from 26^th to 28^th November 2020 even during pandemic, but online declared Sandeep Marwah Founder of Noida Film City and President of Marwah Studios in a joint meeting of International Film And Television club and International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry. It was “way back in 2007 when the first edition was announced, and it was titled Global Festival of Films on Spirituality. It was followed by Global Festival of Documentary Films in 2009. The next was Global Festival of Children’s Films and then it suddenly became a      huge festival with almost 52 events in three days,” recollects Sandeep Marwah while releasing the poster of the festival. Three days festival will screen films online and will have seminars, workshops, talks, interaction programs, etc. AAFT University of Media And Arts , Asian Academy of Arts, and many national and international organizations are supporting the festival.

Mumbai: FFI-Film Federation of India is the Apex body in Cinema and Television business in India, is going to support 13^th Edition of Global Film Festival Noida 2020 scheduled for 26^th to 28^th of November. The festival, this time, is going to be online owing to pandemic. Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and AAFT proposed to the members of the governing council of FFI to join hands with this established film festival to make it much bigger with the support of Film Federation of India. Global Film Festival has planned 12 major events in three days and shall be inviting many foreign filmmakers to share their experience to the film lovers and film students of India and abroad.  “I extend my invitation to each and every member of Film Federation of India especially the members of management committee to please be our guests of honor in 13^th GFFN. Your presence will enhance the value of the festival,” said Sandeep Marwah during the meeting. President of FFI Firdausul Hasan, Secretary General Supran Sen, Vice President T.P. Agarwal, Vice President Sakshi Mehra, Vice President Hirachand Dand, Vice President Ramesh Tekwani, Hon. General Secretary Ravi Kottarakara, Hon. Treasurer Sangram Shirke and members of the executive council were present there.

Noida: 13^th Global Film Festival Noida 2020 presented by IFTC- International Film And Television Club of Marwah Studios on 26^th to 28^th November is going to be with different concepts this time. “The festival is going to be online and major emphasis will be on seminars and discussions. There are three major award functions consisting of 4^th edition of Hindi Cinema Samman, the first edition of Marwah Studios International Awards for Excellence in Cinema for foreign film makers and  for all those who have been involved  with foreign Cinema, and third one is specially planned for the event management organizations and partners in progress,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and GFFN.

Seminars shall be covering subjects like Cinema and tourism, cinema and women, cinema and journalism, cinema and peace and unity. Large number of speakers, film makers, production houses from all over the World are joining the show. 20 events, 60 countries, 200 participants, 100 National and 400 International Press and 2 Million people have been informed about the event. Expected audience for the shows might cross three hundred thousand this time said Marwah in a press conference.

International Film And Television Research Centre, International Public Broadcasting Forum, International Children’s Film Forum, International Women’s Film Forum and many Indian & Foreign cultural forums, associations, organizations, societies are supporting the 13^th Global Film Festival Noida.

Noida:  International Children’s Film Forum was created by the management of Marwah Studios as an alternative and supporting body to Children’s Film Society of India, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India. Now ICFF has emerged as a very popular and active organization.

ICFF- International Children’s Film Forum like every year decided to play an important role during the 14^th Global Film Festival Noida to highlight films directly connected to Children.

The students learning at the 12 branches of Apna School will also get an opportunity to be part of the festival. A special screening is allotted to children’s film during the festival,” said Sandeep Marwah who has been running the organization from last thirty years.

International Children’s Film Forum is there to promote cinema, visual media and creative arts among children of school and colleges. More than 1000 schools and colleges have been entertained so far through Global Film Festivals during the last so many years. It is important to realize that cinema plays a very important role in developing the thinking among youths,” added Sandeep Marwah.

More than 20,000 students, the alumni of AAFT and ASMS, members of International Children’s Film Forum have been informed about the forthcoming Global Film Festival Noida 2021 from 2^nd to 4^th December.

Noida: International Women’s Film Forum has been working with Global Film Festival for last so many years. This year also the managing committee has decided to join hands with 14^th Global Film Festival Noida 2021 to be held from 2^nd to 4^th December at Noida Film City.

International Women’s Film Forum has its 600 hundred active members who all have been also part of Dr. Sarojni Naidu International Award for Working Women. The young female aspirants of creative arts learning at Asian Education Group in different streams and the one who all have passed out in last twenty-eight years of education setup are in thousands in numbers informed Sandeep Marwah the founder of the organization on the completion of thirty years of Marwah Studios.

Large number of activities like workshops, seminars, interaction programs, visits are being organized now and then to talk about the different subjects related to women’s problems and empowerment. Special radio and television programs are broadcasted taking members into consideration. Many Women’s Organizations, Associations, Bodies are members of International Women’s Film Forum. These establishments are again participating in 14th Global Film Festival Noida 2021 through International Women’s Film Forum.

Noida: Indo Uzbekistan Film and Cultural Forum has always been a part of Global Film Festival from so many years. This time a popular film ‘Marathon of Love’ from Uzbekistan has also been screened during the festival which created enough attention of the film makers from all over India and abroad.

“We are promoting Uzbekistan Films in every important film festival of the World. We are also high lighting Uzbekistan as film location for international cinema including most favorite Indian cinema. Indian actors are well recognized in Uzbekistan. The visit of Dr. Sandeep Marwah recently as Guest of Honor to Tashkent International Film Festival added a lot to our relations. I hope you will appreciate this film,” said Azamjon Mansurov Deputy Head of the Mission Embassy of Uzbekistan in New Delhi.

“Our relationship with Uzbekistan is very strong. Indo Uzbekistan Film and Cultural Forum is a proactive organization. I am thankful to people of Uzbekistan who looked after me so well during my visit to Tashkent. Marathon of Love” by “BEGIM” Film Studios, Uzbekistan is a very famous Love story like Romeo & Juliette , but about oriental two families , which is warring each other long time and always make competition. Many fun situation with their children , which study in England and France, met each other in Tashkent and fall in love.

It is a  Comedy, 84 minutes. Screenplay by Makhmudova Gulchekhra-begim, Directed by  Davletshin Farid, Produced by Gulchehra-begim Makhmudova, Diora Usmanova  and Actors like Samir Akramov, Jamilya Gafurova, Rustam Sagdullaev, Djamshid Zakirov, Yasmin Nazarova, Sultan Nazarov and Fatima Redjametova are parts of it.

NOIDA: H.E. Mohamed Maliki Ambassador of Morocco to India was present himself to inaugurate the screening of film-Horses of God from Morocco, an entry to 14^th Global Film Festival Noida 2021 on the third & final day of the festival.

“I congratulate Sandeep Marwah and International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry for organizing such a grand show for three days in Noida and attracting people from so many countries of the World. The efforts are worth praising many times. We are thankful for Screening Moroccan Film as special entry to the festival. Indo Morocco Film and Cultural Forum will bring more colors to our relationship,” said H.E. Mohamed Maliki Ambassador of Morocco to India.

“Indo Morocco Film And Cultural Forum is putting its best to develop and promote relation between the people of two countries through art and culture,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and Chair for forum. Present on the occasion renowned actress Payal Ghosh, Cultural Counselor and Head of Iran Cultural House Dr. Mohd Ali Rabbani, Deputy Head of the Mission High Commission of Gambon Lamin Singhateh, renowned film director Rahul Rawail, actress Mahima Bakshi and many people from the film and television fraternity were present there.

NOIDA: Some of the most interesting films from Iran have been brought to 14^th Global Film Festival Noida 2021 by the Iran Cultural House in New Delhi. All the films including ‘Crazy Castle’, ‘Where Are My Shoes’, and ‘Bodyguard’ were screened on the same day- when the exhibition of art and culture was also inaugurated at Marwah Studios.

“Iran Culture House have been partners with International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry in every possible event at Marwah Studios. We have been conducting many programs together to create awareness about our wonderful relationship and to showcase the vast and deep culture of Iran to the people of India. This time we have the exhibition of different arts from Iran including Cinema,” said Dr. Mohd Ali Rabbani Cultural Counselor of Embassy of Iran.

Iran and India relationship goes back to centuries. From there to new cinema from Iran shows our strong friendship. The films are master pieces and I am sure you will enjoy them ,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios and Chair Indo Iran Film and Cultural Forum.

The films were screened in a house full auditorium including special guest from different parts of the country. Actor Mahima Bakshi, Wellness Expert Garima Bhandari, Dr Leila Mostofi from Iran, Deputy Head of the Mission High Commission of Gambia Lamin Singhateh, Actor Payal Ghosh also expressed their views.

NOIDA: Serbian filmmaker Gordan Kičić’s REALNA PRICA (“Real Story”) takes us through the saga of the actor, Veljko Radisavljevic, who has the impression that the entire universe has conspired against him. He is a walking problem and firmly believes that all the discord is created by the people around him, which is why he often gets into comic conflicts with friends, family, colleagues and even random passengers. Waiting for the big role that he believes will solve all his troubles, Veljko begins to lose his sense of real problems. “Let me first thank the organisers for including the film from Serbia. I am also thankful to Indo Serbia Film and Cultural Forum for initiating this event. What an energetic audience, full of zest and enthusiasm. I am confident that all of you will like this Serbian film Realna Prica or Real Story,” said Ambassador Sinisia Pavic Charge d’ Affairs of Embassy of Serbia in India at  the screening of  film at 14^th Global Film Festival Noida 2021 at Marwah Studios. “This event has added a lot to the relation between India and Serbia. It has also made Indo Serbia Film and Cultural Forum much stronger,” added Sandeep Marwah President of International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry expressing India’s relation with Serbia. Many important people from the industry including Miss Asia Pacific and Alumna of AAFT Srishti Rana, Actor & Model Zeisha Nancy, Producer Rajiv Choudhary, Actor and writer Inaamulhaq actor and writer Aryan Singh along with professional filmmakers and media students saw and appreciated the film.

NOIDA: Nabat is a 2014 Azerbaijani drama film  directed by Elchin Musaoqlu.  The story is set during an upsurge in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict  and revolves around an old, sick ex-forestry worker and his wife Nabat, whose son has died in battle. The film was selected as the Azerbaijani entry for the Best Foreign Language Film  at the 87^th Academy Awards, , but was not nominated. The film has actors like Fatemeh Motamed-Arya as Nabat, Sabir Mammadov as Major and  Farhad Israfilov as Davud. “I extend my heartiest congratulations to International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry for inviting us here and making us a part of this huge grand festival. We may not be large producers of cinema, but Azerbaijan has made some wonderful films,” said H.E. Ashraf Shikhaliyev Ambassador of Axerbaijan to India while announcing the screening of the film and lighting the ceremonial lamp at 14^th Global Film Festival Noida 2021.

“Indo Azerbaijan Film and Cultural Forum has grown big with this participation. Thousands of people have come to know the strong relation between India and Azerbaijan,” said Sandeep Marwah President of the festival. Many renowned film & television personalities were part of the screening of film including  singer actor  Aroon Bakshi, Actress Priyanka Tiwari, music director Dilip Sen.

NOIDA: 7 Boxes in Spanish (7 Cajas) is a Paraguayan thriller film directed by Juan Carlos Maneglia  and Tana Schémbori. The film 7 Boxes was  released on August 10, 2012, and received praise from critics and the public as well as breaking box office  records in Paraguayan cinemas. 7 Boxes won the “Films in Progress” in what was the first unanimous decision in the festival’s history. The film participated at the Moscow International Film Festival in 2013. “We are very happy that a film from Paraguay is a participating in 14^th Global Film Festival Noida 2021. We are also thankful to Indo Paraguay Film and Cultural Forum for being part of the grand show. I am sure you all will love this super hit film,” said H.E. Fleming Duarte inaugurating the screening of film. The cast includes Celso Franco as Victor, a porter who aspires to become a famous actor. He is recruited to transport seven mysterious boxes in exchange for one hundred dollars. Lali Gonzalez as Liz, a young woman who accompanies Victor on his mission. Nelly Davalos as Tamara, Jin Hyuk Johnny Kim as Jim, Víctor Sosa as Nelson, and  Nico García as Luis. “This one hour forty minutes film is an asset to the festival. The film has added a lot of the creativity to the whole show,” added Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of   the festival. Radha Bhatt, Dilnaz Irani, Raghubir Yadav, Aroon Bakshi, H.E. Paulias Korni Ambassador of Papua New Guinea were also present at the screening in a house full show.

Noida: The highest and the most prestigious award of Hindi Cinema this time was presented to film Producer T.P.Agarwal the designated President of Film Federation of India and President of Indian Motion Picture Producers Association for fifteen years for his untiring services to Indian Film Industry by internationally renowned media personality Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chairman Hindi Cinema Samman Samiti at the fifth edition in a  grand event of 14^th Global Film Festival Noida 2021. Hindi Cinema Bhushan was presented to Padam Shri Anoop Jalota also known as Bhajan Samrat for his long attachment to Indian Film Industry through music. Hindi Cinema Gaurav was presented to known actors like Deepak Tijori, Music Director Hriju Roy, Secretary CINTA & Actor Amit Behal, Actor Rajesh Khattar, Vicki Ranawat, Producer Anjum Rizvi and renowned actor Daizy Shah. Hindi Cinema Sevi for the promotion of Hindi Cinema was presented to H.E. Lineo Irene Molise Mabusela High Commissioner of Lesotho, H.E. Dilshod Akhatov Ambassador of Uzbekistan, H.E. Carlos Polo Ambassador of Peru, H.E. Muhammed Maliki Ambassador of Morocco, H.E. Juan Angulo Ambassador of Chile, H.E. Kamlesh Shashi Prakash High Commissioner of Fiji, Ambassador Sinisa Pavic Charge d’ Affaires Embassy of Serbia, Roman Masaric Charge d’ Affaires of Embassy of the Czech Republic and producer Director Rajeev Chaudhury. “We never wanted to shift the program to new date. Though things were quite uncertain because of pandemic, we are lucky that the whole event went above the expectations of people.  The 14^th Global Film Festival Noida 2021 saw the footfall of 17000 people with different kinds of events including 9 workshops, 7 exhibitions, foreign films, Indian Films, Director’s Retrospective, films on disability, AAFT Films, ASMS Films, Competition segment and Films on Children. Special events were organized by forums to respect Mahatma Gandhi, Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru and Shakespeare on three different days of festival. World Computer Literacy Day, Day for Persons with Disability & Navy Day were also observed during the Global Film Festival. National days of Laos and United Arab Emirates were also celebrated. Regular three days AAFT School of Mass Communication was releasing the newsletter for the festival. Book on Sandeep Marwah was also released on the opening day. The music band of AAFT School of Performing Art was a big entertainer on the first day, followed by Fashion show by AAFT School of Fashion and Design and then the most powerful Hindi Cinema Samman Samaroh was held on the final day.
