Award of Distinction to Tunisian Film “A Son” at 17th GFFN

Noida, December 2024: The Indo-Tunisia Film and Cultural Forum, in association with the International Film and Television Club, proudly showcased the Tunisian feature film A Son, directed by Mehdi Barsaoui, at the prestigious 17th Global Film Festival Noida 2024.

The film received an overwhelming response from the audience, who applauded its compelling narrative and cinematic excellence numerous times throughout the screening.

In recognition of its outstanding contribution to cinema, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of 17th Global Film Festival Noida, announced an Award of Distinction for the film during the festival. The announcement was met with thunderous applause from the large gathering present at the event.

Dr. Marwah expressed his admiration for the film and emphasized the importance of strengthening cultural ties through cinema. “This recognition underscores the power of storytelling to transcend boundaries and bring cultures closer together,” he remarked.

Her Excellency Mrs. Hayet Talbi EP Bilel, Ambassador of Tunisia, and Patron to Indo Tunisia Film and Cultural Forum was also informed about this prestigious honor, further solidifying the cultural exchange between India and Tunisia.
