Noida, 21 May 2025 – The Asian Academy of Film & Television (AAFT) proudly welcomed the creative minds behind the upcoming feature film Dilli Dark for an engaging session with students and faculty. Team Behind Dilli Dark Visits AAFT. The visit marked yet another moment of pride for the institution, as both AAFT faculty and alumni have played key roles in the film’s production.

The film’s Producer, Director, and Writer Dibakar Das Roy, along with renowned actor Samuel Abiola Robinson, visited the campus for an exclusive interaction with aspiring filmmakers. The session was both insightful and inspiring, offering students a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the film.

A highlight of the visit was the acknowledgment of AAFT faculty member Kirti Singh, who served as Assistant Director on the film, and AAFT alumnus Ritwik Sondhi, who took on the crucial role of Post Production Supervisor. “I am proud that both faculty and alumni of AAFT are part of this prestigious film project,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of AAFT. “It gives me immense confidence to see how the industry increasingly values trained, educated, and skilled professionals from our institution. Noida, 21 May 2025 – Bollywood Buzz at AAFT: Kapkapii Star Cast Sparks Excitement on Campus.  The Asian Academy of Film & Television (AAFT) came alive with glamour, creativity, and youthful enthusiasm as the star cast of the upcoming Bollywood horror-comedy Kapkapii made a memorable visit to the campus on May 20. The high-energy promotional event brought students face-to-face with the industry they aspire to join.

Celebrated actors Tusshar Kapoor, Siddhi Idnani, and Sonia Rathee graced the occasion, captivating the crowd with their presence and charm. Such as Their arrival turned the AAFT grounds into a mini film festival, generating buzz and anticipation for the quirky and spine-tingling film.

This year’s Palau-inspired collection drew deep creative inspiration from the island’s famous Storyboard Carvings—traditional narratives etched in wood. The couture pieces, crafted with hand-embroidered patchwork on net, Japanese satin, and lace. Brought to the runway the rhythm of ocean waves and ancient island myths hence told in elegant silhouettes of white, blue, and red. The designs eloquently merged Palauan heritage with refined, modern craftsmanship. Capturing the heart of viewers with island grace and storytelling flair.

The Indo-Belarus Film and Cultural Forum, a consistent pillar of international collaboration. Added immense charm to the event with its Belarus-inspired fashion presentation. Hence the collection drew inspiration from the romantic theme “Lovers on the Lilac”, reflecting the poetic and serene aura of Belarusian floral landscapes. The garments, made of luxurious Japanese cotton. Featured body-fitted silhouettes in soft hues of lavender, lilac, pink, and blue — celebrating nature, love, and timeless elegance.
