Newsletter by Students of AAFT School of Journalism Released by Eminent Media Leaders at Marwah Studios. Noida Film City, India: In a significant celebration of young journalistic talent and academic excellence, the Newsletter created by the students of AAFT School of Journalism was formally released at Marwah Studios in the presence of distinguished diplomats, senior journalists, and media leaders from across the country.
The newsletter was officially unveiled by H.E. Alonso Correa Miguel, Ambassador of Panama to India, along with eminent media personalities including Amrita Garg, Senior News Anchor & Content Producer, News Nation; Raj Kishor, National Editor, Amar Ujala; Dinesh Gautam, Sr. Executive Editor, TV9 Bharatvarsh; Pratyush Ranjan, Chief Editor – Digital AI & Fact-Checking at Press Trust of India; Prafulkumar Shrivastav, Founder of The Trending Podcast Show; and Parimal Kumar, Senior Journalist and Former Senior Special Correspondent at NDTV.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and Chancellor of AAFT University, congratulated the students for their dedication and professionalism in producing the newsletter. “Practical exposure is the backbone of journalism education. Platforms like this newsletter give students real-time experience in reporting, editing, research, and presentation. At AAFT, we believe in learning by doing, and this initiative reflects the strength and seriousness of our journalism programs,” said Dr. Marwah. Dr. Marwah further emphasized that media education must align with global standards while nurturing ethical journalism and responsible reporting.
Dr. Syed Nawaz Ahmad, Dean, AAFT School of Journalism, expressed pride in the students’ efforts. “This newsletter is a reflection of the creativity, analytical ability, and commitment of our budding journalists. It is not merely a publication, but a training ground where students learn the values of accuracy, balance, and integrity in journalism,” he stated.
Speaking on the occasion, H.E. Alonso Correa Miguel appreciated the academic environment at Marwah Studios and the enthusiasm of the students. “I am impressed by the professional quality of work produced by the students. Journalism plays a crucial role in strengthening democracy and international understanding. Initiatives like this help shape responsible global communicators,” said the Ambassador of Panama.
