New Delhi, April 13, 2025: The vibrant three-day Nepal Festival Delhi 2025 concluded with resounding success at the Embassy of Nepal Grounds, drawing hundreds of visitors who celebrated Himalayan heritage, cross-border commerce, and cultural richness. The festival, held from April 11 to 13, was jointly organized by the Everest Chamber of Commerce and Industries and the Embassy of Nepal, transforming Barakhamba Road into a lively hub of Nepalese culture, business, and tourism.
Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Founder of Noida Film City and President of Marwah Studios, was invited as the Keynote Speaker and honored in his capacity as Chair of the Indo-Nepal Film and Cultural Forum. In his address, Dr. Marwah spoke about the historic formation of the Forum under the direct initiative of the Hon’ble Prime Minister of Nepal, who had personally nominated him as the Chair.
Highlighting the Forum’s ongoing achievements, Dr. Marwah emphasized Nepal’s active and continuous participation in major international events organized by ICMEI, including the Global Film Festival, Global Festival of Journalism, Global Literary Festival, Global Fashion Week, International Documentary Film Festival, and many others. He reflected on the strong bond nurtured over the years through culture, art, and media, fostering deep-rooted relations between the two neighboring nations.
Recognizing his relentless efforts and outstanding contributions toward strengthening Indo-Nepal ties, the Embassy of Nepal conferred a special honor upon Dr. Sandeep Marwah during the festival. His leadership has been pivotal in promoting cultural diplomacy and building a bridge of friendship between India and Nepal through creative platforms.
