Dr. Sandeep Marwah Attends the 66th Anniversary Celebration of the National Day of the Republic of Benin

New Delhi: Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and Chair of the Indo Benin Film and Cultural Forum, attended the grand celebration marking the 66th Anniversary of the National Day of the Republic of Benin, hosted by H.E. Mr. Erick Jean Marie Zinsou, Ambassador of the Republic of Benin to India.

The celebration brought together ambassadors, diplomats, government officials, business leaders, members of the cultural fraternity, and distinguished guests to commemorate the National Day of Benin while celebrating the enduring friendship between India and the Republic of Benin.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Sandeep Marwah congratulated the Government and the people of Benin on their National Day and reiterated the commitment of the Indo Benin Film and Cultural Forum to strengthening bilateral relations through art, cinema, media, education, and cultural exchange.

“On behalf of the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) and the Indo Benin Film and Cultural Forum, I extend my warmest greetings to His Excellency Ambassador Erick Jean Marie Zinsou and the people of the Republic of Benin on this proud national occasion. India and Benin share cordial and friendly relations, and cultural diplomacy has immense potential to bring our people even closer. Through films, festivals, educational collaborations, and cultural exchanges, we will continue to build stronger bonds of friendship and mutual understanding between our two nations,” said Dr. Marwah.

He also appreciated the leadership of H.E. Mr. Erick Jean Marie Zinsou in further enhancing India–Benin relations and expressed his confidence that the Indo Benin Film and Cultural Forum would continue to serve as an effective platform for promoting cooperation in media, entertainment, arts, tourism, and people-to-people engagement.

The event featured interactions among diplomats and distinguished guests, reflecting the shared commitment of both countries to expanding cooperation across diverse sectors while celebrating the rich cultural heritage and longstanding friendship between India and the Republic of Benin.
